Find health care providers near you
Health care, or healthcare, whichever term you prefer, is the prevention, intervention and management of sickness using the facilities offered by the medical, nursing and allied health professions. All the same, The World Health Organization believes the meaning should also incorporate all associated industries and be a service available to everyone irrespective of who they, which means individuals as well as whole groups of individuals. Working to together this way, the whole medical community would fall under the expression health care system.
The expression healthcare has not always been used though and prior to this is it was often just referred to medicine or the health sector but this was used more by English speaking countries. Most developed and even developing nations have a system of healthcare for all to cater for those who cannot pay. Established in 1948, The National Health Service in the United Kingdom was the world’s first universal healthcare system provided by government. With the Acai Berry Diet and by taking Acai Berry Maxx. As the instances of colon cancer rise, many health care professionals are joining the ranks of health.
According to The World Health Organization, a good alternative to this system is that in Italy where insurance for health is a compulsory but is a government funded service and possibly the second best around the world. Canada and Australia have both begun similar systems and have been running since almost twenty and the 1970’s respectively both going by the name of Medicare. These systems are almost opposite to the systems currently provided in American and South Africa although there are huge changes taking place in the system used by South Africa. people who work in health care include all professionals whose job it is to uphold life, treat and cure sickness and try to better the health of individuals. The collective term for this is the health care industry but the word industry may not necessarily be the best one to use.
Worldwide, over recent decades, there has been a huge growth in the amount of money spent on healthcare and it is now one of the fastest growing sectors in every developed country with an average cost of ten percent of the gross domestic product. The United States bucks this trend with, back in 2003, a health industry responsible or over fifteen percent of gross domestic product but this is expected to rise considerably by 2016 when it will almost one fifth of The United States GDP.
In America there are one hundred eighty million Americans who want healthcare and a recent study showed that it was the number one concern of those seeking employment. The costs of health care in America have risen so much that General Motors had looked at filing bankruptcy due to the increasing healthcare costs wearing down its auto manufacturing division. Fortunately, negotiations between the Union and GM management made a deal to reduce some of the benefits but keep operating as usual but the were force to sell off their under performing finance arm GMAC.
Workers in The United States place this as their number one priority when looking for a prospective employer and often will move to a lower paid position just to better their medical care. Possibly the situation needs to be looked at from a different angle, one in which individuals are promoted to stay fit and healthy as societies in general see a decline in the health of its populations.
